从力学的基础性谈工程科学的科研与教学以《Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science》为例

RESEARCH AND TEACHING OF OCEAN ENGINEERING SCIENCE FROM THE BASIS OF MECHANICS DISCIPLINE—— A CASE STUDY OF 《Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science》

  • 摘要: 力学是一门重要的基础学科,也是工程科学的先导和基础。科技期刊是科研成果的载体和服务科研的平台。本文以《Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science》为例,通过分析该期刊刊文的统计信息及与力学相关的文章,揭示了在海洋工程科学研究中涉及的基础学科主要是力学和数学以及两学科的重要性,探讨了力学等基础学科对工程科学的科研与教学方面的推动作用,进而结合该期刊刊文中有关力学问题的研究,讨论并提出了科技期刊促进科研与教学的建议。

     

    Abstract: As the forerunner and cornerstone of engineering science, mechanics is a fundamental discipline. Scientific journals serve as vital carriers for research achievement and service platforms for scientific research. Based on the Journal of Ocean Engineering and Science, this paper analyzes the statistical information of this journal's publications and some articles relevant to mechanics. It reveals that the fundamental disciplines in the scientific research of ocean engineering are mainly related to mechanics and mathematics. Also, the promotion of mechanics as a basic discipline to engineering science in research and teaching is discussed. Combining with research work on mechanics problems, some suggestions for the mutual promotion between scientific journals and research teaching are proposed.
