## ANALYSIS ON STIFFNESS OF COMPOSITE MATERIALS BASED ON TSAI’S MODULUS

• 摘要: 蔡氏模量是复合材料力学领域一个新概念，可用于简化复合材料层压结构的设计、分析与优化。这一概念已得到理论验证和工程应用，但尚未在复合材料力学教学中普及。本文对蔡氏模量基本理论、教学方法与工程意义进行探讨，以提升学生对蔡氏模量的认识及应用能力。教学实践表明，该方法提高了学生对复合材料层压结构刚度的计算分析能力，增进了学生对经典层合板理论等传统分析方法的理解，有利于工程创新能力培育和新工科创新人才培养。

Abstract: Tsai's modulus is an emerging concept in composite materials mechanics, which can be used to simplify the design, analysis and optimization of composite laminates. Tsai’s modulus has been verified theoretically, and its applicability in engineering prospects has been demonstrated. However, this new concept has yet been widely introduced to composite materials teaching. This work investigates on the concepts, teaching methods and engineering prospects of Tsai's modulus, to promote deeper understanding and application ability among researchers and students on Tsai’s modulus-based analysis. Our teaching practice demonstrates that the proposed method can enhance students’ computation and analysis ability on laminate composites, meanwhile deepen their understanding on traditional methods like laminated plate theory. This is helpful to the cultivation of engineering innovative capacity and top innovative talents in new engineering.
