Abstract:
Combined with wind tunnel test, the numerical simulation was used toanalyze the wind-induced pressure onsix low rise and hip roofed buildings, with Reynolds-averagedequations and realizable k-\varepsilon turbulence model. The computational domain was divided into tetrahedral elements of good topology. The flow field was numerically discretized to be solved by FLUENT, a famousCFD software. Good agreement was obtained between the computed results andwind-tunnel test results of the single house, and the variation trend of windpressures on the surface of low-rise building under interference of theother house is discussed.
