Abstract:
Reticulated shells asstructural members have found wide applications in largespan structures. In this paper, the governingequations for nonlinear forced vibrations of a double deckreticulated shallow spherical shell structure is established.Then, the nonlinear dynamic buckling is considered for a doubledeck reticulated shallow spherical shell under immovable clamped boundaryconditions. At the same time, the model of catastrophe of nonlinear vibrationbucking for the double deck reticulated shallow spherical shell is built byusing catastrophe theory. The critical equation about the model ofcatastrophe is obtained. Finally, the effects of shell parameters on thenonlinear vibration buckling are considered.
