Abstract: The similarity formulae of model testing in advancingshield tunnels are proposed based on the Goodierian theory. Many practicalfactors such as the advancing pressure and speed, the soil pressure, thesoil discharging and losing ratio, and the infused mud quantities areincluded in them.
