Abstract: This paper studied a simplified method for thecalculation of symmetrical structure based on the moment distribution. Whenthe conventional moment distribution methods are employed,searching proceduce seems to be inconvenient. In order to avoid thesituation, the new moment distribution method has been established. Theresults of three examples show that the method proposed in this paper iscorrect and quickly convergent. The present results are apparentlyvaluable in the calculation of symmetrical structure.
