Abstract: The stress distribution in joint area of oil tank is analysed. To decelerate the steel corrosion of oil tank, some measures are suggested to reduce the borderline stress in the near area of joints of oil tank wall and oil tank bottom and the borderline stress can be reduced in a large extent.
