Abstract: The formula for parameters inverse analysis and settlement prediction of saturated soft clay ground under embankment is preseated. In order toavoid the nou-uniqueness and instability in analysis,the dynamic inverse analysis and prediction method is proposed. The proposed method is demonstrsted to be feasible in the case study
