Abstract:
To investigate the effects of structural parameters of the conical frustum observation window for deep-sea submersibles on stress and displacement responses, this study adopts the finite element simulation method. Based on the theoretical analysis of the structure and characteristics of the conical frustum observation window, a finite element model is established using ANSYS, and multiple parametric analysis schemes are designed. By varying the thickness-to-diameter ratio, cone angle, friction coefficient, and chamfer dimensions, the variations in maximum equivalent stress, shear stress, and central axial displacement under different parameter conditions are systematically analyzed. Furthermore, the reasonable optimization ranges of these parameters are determined. The results provide a useful reference for the structural optimization design of conical frustum observation windows.
