力学课堂里的“舞台效果”——读《隐藏在结构里的力学》有感

  • 摘要: 由英国曼彻斯特大学季天健教授撰写的《隐藏在结构里的力学》于2025年9月在高等教育出版社出版。该书以“化抽象为具象、融趣味于专业”为核心特色,凭借大量的教具创新、深入的案例剖析以及教学科研协同理念,成为一本兼具科普与教学双重价值的力学科普图书。本文从教学方法革新、知识传播路径、教研融合实践3个层面,系统解读该书在复杂理论通俗化、专业内容生活化方面所蕴含的教育逻辑与科普智慧,以期为力学课堂教学提供素材。

     

    Abstract: Mechanics Hidden in Structures, written by Professor Ji Tian-Jian from the University of Manchester, UK, was published by Higher Education Press in September 2025. Featuring “transforming abstraction into concreteness and integrating fun into professionalism”, the book boasts numerous teaching aid innovations, in-depth case analyses, and the concept of teaching-research collaboration—positioning it as a mechanics popular science work that combines popular science and educational value. This article seeks to explore the educational logic and popular science insights embedded within the book. By analyzing it from three perspectives: innovation in teaching methods, knowledge dissemination paths, and teaching-research integration practices, it distills the core experience of popularizing complex theories and rendering professional content relatable to daily life, while recommending Mechanics Hidden in Structures to readers.
