在工科专业课程教学中融入力学史的作用刍议

SOME MERITS OF INTEGRATING THE HISTORY OF MECHANICS INTO ENGINEERING COURSES

  • 摘要: 力学是多类工科专业的重要科学基础,是构筑诸多工科专业课知识体系的核心。在工科专业课程的教学过程中适当融入力学史,有利于学生更好掌握知识要点、建立知识体系内在逻辑、体验科技发展规律。本文结合土木工程本科生和研究生若干专业课程教学中的具体案例,浅谈在工科专业课程教学中融入力学史教育的几点作用。

     

    Abstract: Mechanics serves as a fundamental scientific foundation for many engineering disciplines and lies at the core of constructing knowledge systems across various fields of engineering. Appropriately integrating the history of mechanics into engineering courses can help the students grasp key concepts, understand the internal logic of the knowledge structure, and appreciate the patterns of scientific and technological development. This paper discusses several practical experiences of incorporating the history of mechanics into engineering education, drawing on specific examples from some undergraduate and graduate courses in civil engineering.
