Abstract:
The 13
th China Trajectory Optimization Competition (CTOC13) has first opened the undergraduate raceway and introduced a new competition mode, in which the problem is solved based on a software. The problem is designed based on the background of the rapid response mission, and it requires participates to cleverly design constellation configuration and maneuver scheme to optimize the indicate of an emergency observation mission. This competition offers an aerospace mission design software called ATK(Aerospace Tool Kit), and participants can use built-in tools to help solving problems and check results at any time. The efficiency of solving the problem is significantly improved. A total of 79 teams from 19 universities have registered for this competition. Through a seven-day intense competition, the Tsinghua University team has ultimately won the championship. This paper briefly summarizes the organization of the competition, mainly introducing the problem, innovative points, result and rank, and post competition questionnaire. Based on this competition’s experience, we plan to add a “Trajectory Optimization Competition” raceway in the 15
th national Zhou Peiyuan Mechanics Competition.
