Course Design for Engineering Mechanics Methodology

  • 摘要: 根据“力学101计划”的总体要求,本文介绍如何设计以工程力学方法论为核心内容的新课程:力学工程问题。首先,阐述工程力学方法论的基本逻辑,它包括自上而下的三个层次,即工程科学导向、系统科学思维、系统工程方法。其次,介绍如何通过各种例题来展示工程力学方法论的基本内容,包括定性研究、机理研究和数据驱动研究。最后,概述已完成的11个工程力学案例及其设计思路,并指出今后完善案例的方向。

     

    Abstract: According to the overall requirement of “Plan 101 in Mechanics”, this article presents how to design a new course, entitled Engineering Issues in Mechanics, focusing on the engineering mechanics methodology. At first, the article clarifies the basic logic of engineering mechanics methodology in three top-down levels, that is, the orientation of engineering science, system science thinking and system engineering methods. Then, the article presents how to illustrate the basic contents of engineering mechanics methodology including the qualitative researches, mechanism researches and data-driven researches via various examples. Finally, it outlines 11 completed case studies in engineering mechanics and their ideas of design, and points out the future work so as to further improve case studies.
