Abstract:
This study introduces 《Lectures on Classical Mechanics》, the core textbook of the “101 Plan” in mechanics, authoured by professor Junfeng Li and published by the Higher Education Press. First, it clarifies the textbook's disciplinary positioning. Second, it elaborates on its dual-threaded structural framework integrating Newtonian mechanics and analytical mechanics. Third, it outlines the textbook's innovative features. Finally, based on the authors' educational practices, it provides recommendations for pedagogical implementation.
