Abstract:
This paper utilizes knowledge graph technology and the visual metric analysis platform CiteSpace to analyze literatures on the study of the mechanics of material course in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database. By analyzing the cooperative relationships in research, institutional cooperation, and the association, clustering, and evolution of research keywords, it elucidates the current status of the teaching research of mechanics of material in China and forecasts future development trends. Through visual analysis, it concludes that the research on the teaching of mechanics of material presents a partially concentrated and overall dispersed trend. Virtual teaching and research rooms based on internet technology are expected to break down cooperation barriers between institutions. The evolution of hot research keywords conforms to the characteristics of the times, from early textbook construction and knowledge point teaching to recent emerging engineering education, ideological and political education, and virtual simulation. The teaching method assisted by artificial intelligence technology is the future development trend.
