Abstract:
Taking typical bridges on the Chengdu-Kunming Railway as the research background, the seismic performance of double spherical aseismic bearing was investigated. A comparative analysis of the influence of different bridge types on the effectiveness of base isolation was conducted. Furthermore, the effects of pier height, form, and location on the efficiency was discussed. The results indicate that double spherical aseismic bearing exhibit good seismic isolation effects for simply supported T-beam bridges, simply supported truss bridges, and continuous beam bridges. Overall, the optimization of loads on the top of piers is more significant than at the bottom, and the optimization of moments is more significant than shear forces. Pier height, pier location, and pier form all affect the bearing's seismic isolation efficiency.
