Abstract:
In the solution of elastic problems, the calculation considering body force is much more complicated than that considering surface force, and it is often difficult to simulate the load conditions of body force in experiments. Therefore, converting body force into surface force can simplify the solution of elastic problems and provide great convenience for experimental design. Taking two typical plane problems as examples, this paper discusses the methods of dealing with non-constant body force in rectangular coordinate system and polar coordinate system, respectively. It provides a new idea for the design of experiment, and helps students to flexibly use the theory of elasticity to solve practical engineering problems. It shows certain application value in engineering and instruction.
