Abstract:
The cultivation of innovative talents of fundamental mechanics should not only pay attention to the study of professional knowledge, but also to the ability of students' critical thinking, questioning and application. Limited by the continuous reduction of class hours, fundamental mechanics courses mainly depend on lecturing of teachers, and it is difficult to carry out the student-centered practical teaching. This way of emphasizing theory and neglecting practice often leads to a decline of students' interest in learning and insufficient comprehensive abilities. In order to make up for the lack of practice teaching during the process of traditional classroom teaching, various types of practice projects have been steadily promoted by domestic universities in recent years. In this work, the provincial college students' innovative training program, guided by the authors' teaching team, is taken as an example to systematically introduce the effective guidance methods of teachers during the implementation process of the project, and provide some valuable experiences for the cultivation of fundamental mechanics innovative talents in this new times.
