Abstract:
The world's unprecedented changes in this century have provided new opportunities and new impetus for China's development. Cultivating outstanding engineering students is one of the top priorities. This paper reviews the core literacy requirements for students in the context of "New Engineering" from three dimensions of the key quality, the professional skills and the engineering capabilities, and proposes a lean talent training model based on the integration of science and education and the promotion of learning by participating. The precise, lean, and streamlined design concept of the model is elaborated from three levels: the training ideas, the operation framework and the implementation links. By taking the implementation of the innovation and the entrepreneurship training as an example, the effects of the training and the improvement of this training model on the students' comprehensive engineering ability are discussed.
