Abstract: In vehicle collision accidents, the influence of the vehicle mass on the human body injuries depends on the accident conditions. Many severe accidents involve only one car, and the car's kinetic energy is the only "power" for producing injuries. From a viewpoint of the injury prevention for the entire road traffic, the lightweight of the vehicle has more positive effect than the harmful one.
