Abstract:
Since “Triple-Integration” brings new challenge for airflow quality and background noise compared to normal aerodynamic and acoustic wind tunnel. Distributed boundary layer control system, Adaptive nozzle and collector, hidden design for dynamometer and solar simulation system are used in this wind tunnel. Which highly improved the flow quality and background noise in the wind tunnel according to the test results. The final test result also shows the fluid quality is better than relevant national standard. And also has certain advantages in term of boundary layer thickness, low frequency pressure fluctuation, background noise and temperature uniformity. In order to verify the flow stability in this wind tunnel. Repeatability test with a vehicle was performed. Both aerodynamic and acoustic test results show the wind tunnel with good condition. Which can certainly meet vehicle relevant performance development requirement well.
