Abstract: This article recalls the unforgettable experience of Professor Zhemin Zheng, Professor Zhaoxiang Zhu, Professor Youshi Hong and Mr. Lin He, paying a special visit to the respected Professor Hsue-Shen Tsien at his residence on December 7, 2005. At the age of 94, Professor Tsien was in good spirits. He still paid great attention to the situation and development of the Institute of Mechanics and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as the scientific and technological progresses of our country. He spoke heartfully, had a quick mind, and bore the overall situation in mind, demonstrating the demeanor of a great scientist.
