KINEMATICS ANALYSIS OF TYPICAL MECHANISMS

  • Computer-aided analysis of kinematics can help understand the whole movement process of a mechanical system, along with the motion trajectory, the velocity and the acceleration of the system at any time or position. Matlab can be used to realize the computer-aided analysis. This paper focuses on the kinematics analysis of two typical mechanisms. In one case, the focus is on how to solve the nonlinear algebraic equations by Matlab and how to perform the animation demonstration. In another case, the focus is on how to solve the fully parametric kinematics problem by using the symbolic derivation function in Matlab.
