ONE DIMENSIONAL SPH STABILITY ANALYSIS

This paper presents a more general stability conditionfor one dimensional smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) by combiningtwo different stabilityconditions derived by two different momentum conservation discreteequations using von Neumann stability method. The result shows thatSPH stability is greatly affected by different momentum conservationdiscrete equations. At the end of this paper, an example is given.
