DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF METAL BAR BONDING SYSTEM UNDER TRANSIENT EXCITATION

  • In this paper, dynamic response of metal barbonding system under transient excitation is numerically simulated withMSC/NASTRAN program. The results are compared with the experimental ones,and it is concluded that only the upper interface reflection point of anchoringsegment can be obtained by using transient-hitting approach,leaving the bottom reflection point undetermined. To solve this problem, a guided wave method is proposed, which provides an efficient non-destructive method for the metal bar bonding system.
