THE ANALYSIS OF TRUSS MEMBER FORCE IN TRANSMISSION TOWER BY THE METHOD OF SPLIT RIGIDITY

  • An analysis method for transmission tower with thesplit rigidity method is proposed, with each section of equivalent flexuralrigidity matrix and equivalent shear rigidity matrix being establishedseparately by using the split rigidity method to replace the total rigiditymatrix in the space truss analysis method, to obtain the internal force of each section oftower. Using an iterative method, the truss memberforce of entire tower is obtained. The calculating results agree wellwith the calculating data by usingcomputer.
