Abstract
The governing differential equations for double ribbedmain beam considering shear lag under axial loading is established by using the principle of the minimum potential energy. The finiteelement matrixes are derived after the homogeneous solutions of equationsare obtained. The numerical calculation results are compared with those fromthe model test, which shows the convenience and accuracy of the method givenin this paper.
