AN INVESTIGATION ON CONTACT CONDITION AT SEPARATION POINT OF SUBMARINE PIPELINE

In pipe laying and lifting analysis, the contactcondition between pipeline and seabed, including deflection, rotationangle and bending moment, is sometime tricky in a normal mechanicalmodel. Considering seabed deformation and pipeline bending, the truebackground and limitation of the contact condition are given in thispaper.
