COMPOSITE FOURIER SERIES METHOD IN THE ANALYSIS OF THIN PLATES

The combination of analytic and numeric methods is animportant approach to enhance computational efficiency. By employing a newpattern of combination, in which the analytic method is the basis and thenumeric method is the reinforcer, the composite Fourier series methodis proposed in the thin plate bending problem.This newly proposed method exhibits excellent convergence for varied loads and boundary conditions.
