SOME KEY PROBLEMS IN THE RESEARCH OF WIND-BLOWN SANDS

This paper briefly reviews the latest advancements of investigation onmechanism of wind-blown sands with respect to sand desertification and/orsandstorm which becomes an extremely seriousenvironmental problem and towhich Chinese government and international communities have been paid agreat attention. Some important topicsare put forward for future researches on the mechanism of wind-blown sands.
