A MECHANICAL MODEL OF SUBSIDENCE DUE TO MINING AND ITS APPLICATION

Based on the law of the overburden movement, theflexible character of the bending zone and the correlation principlesin thin plate theory, a mechanial model of the maximum subsidence isfounded. The model can be used to forecast the subsidence value in thecondition of the layer separation being grouted or not grouted.
