A MECHANICAL MODEL OF SUBSIDENCE DUE TO MINING AND ITS APPLICATION

  • Based on the law of the overburden movement, theflexible character of the bending zone and the correlation principlesin thin plate theory, a mechanial model of the maximum subsidence isfounded. The model can be used to forecast the subsidence value in thecondition of the layer separation being grouted or not grouted.
