  • In this paper, free edge effect of composite cylinder under internal pressure was studied. The effect of laminated sequence on stresses of free edge was discussed. It is revealed from finite element analysis that shear failure between layers is the main reason for the failure of free edge, and different laminated sequence has a big effect on the stresses between layers of free edge.
