THE WIND VIBRATION RESPONSE OF ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION TOWER WITH LONG SPAN

The Ultra high voltage transmission lines have great dynamic effects on the tower. The paper sets up mechanism of a tower with stochastic parameters subjected to stochastic excitation according to the load characteristics of tower, and calculates statistics of tower response caused by wind.
