POSITION OPTIMIZATION OF ACTUATOR BY APPLYING AN IMPROVED PSO METHOD

An improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) method isproposed for the position optimization of actuators invibration control problems. The system energy is adopted as the optimal index inthe method. A numerical example is calculated by the improved method andother optimal techniques. The results optimized by variousmethods are in good agreement, and the improved PSO method is moreefficient forsolving multi-position optimization problems of actuators in vibration controlproblems.
