DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF A NEW FRAME BEAM TESTING DEVICE

This paper discusses the principle and the structure of anew frame beam testing device, which can produce axial restraints androtational restraints at beam ends to effectively simulate the actualmechanical state of frame beams. Some reinforced concrete frame beamswere tested using this device. Test results are confirmed by the results of theoreticalanalysis and verify a good stability and reliability of the testing device.
