Abstract
The stability of clamped hemispherical shells under wind-type loads is studied by applying the exact buckling bifurcation' equations and Galerkin procedure. A buckling mode close to the bifurcation point deformations is proposed. We have obtained reasonable buckling critical values and offered a basis for scientific design.
