A REVIEW OF THE EVALUATION METHODS OF FATIGUE RELIABILITY OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS

  • A detailed review of the evaluation methods of fatigue reliability of structural elementshas been made. Various the models for the fatigue reliability evaluation are classified into threetypes according to the status equations, that is, cumulative damage model, residual strength modeland fatigUe life model. Every model can find its own position in the engineering application, andhas some limits. Some discussions on the further development of the evaluation of fatigue reliabilityare made.
