Abstract
Fluid mechanics is a core course for mechanics majors and also a key construction course in the Mechanics “101 Plan”. The Mechanics "101 Plan" is designed to cultivate top mechanics talents who are rational, truth-seeking, digitally intelligent and innovative. Following this guideline, the fluid mechanics teaching team has promoted curriculum development. The work covers knowledge graph construction, course design, textbook revision and electronic teaching plan compilation. This article mainly introduces the course design of fluid mechanics. Additionally, based on the teaching practices at Zhejiang University and University of Science and Technology of China, it presents reflections on fluid mechanics teaching in the era of digital intelligence. Although digital empowerment can enhance students' learning efficiency, teaching methods that foster students’ understanding of principles and learning initiative are even more important.
