Abstract
This paper explores the construction of university laboratories under the "New Engineering" paradigm, innovations and practical experiences in experimental curriculum reform, and the cultivation of value-oriented education models. To address the disconnect between current engineering education models and practical engineering challenges and cutting-edge technologies, the paper introduces experimental innovations such as digital image correlation (DIC), tensile and fatigue mechanical testing systems, and high-temperature and high-humidity screen buckling instability testing systems. These innovations are integrated with field-based learning and undergraduate research training to cultivate high-quality, well-rounded "New Engineering" talents with strong practical and innovative capabilities, a sense of national responsibility, and social awareness. The goal is to establish a new paradigm of higher engineering education characterized by the integrated and collaborative development of industry, teaching, research, and learning.
