DESIGN OF EXPERIMENTAL TEACHING PLATFORM FOR FINE FLOW FIELD TEST BASED ON SPIV TECHNOLOGY

  • As the most advanced testing technology of fluid mechanics fine flow field measurement, SPIV (stereoscopic particle image velocimetry) technology can visualize the three-dimensional motion of complex flow field. Its application in experimental teaching enhances students' interest in learning. The experimental teaching platform visualizes the rotating flow field by utilizing SPIV technology. Through data acquisition and image post-processing analysis, the three-dimensional velocity field of the rotating flow field is obtained. Finally, it is observed that the circumferential velocity of the rotating flow field is a rotating motion with faster rotation speed and higher uniformity of distribution along the axis, increasing from the central axis of the tube to the wall. This allows students to understand the development of advanced flow field testing technology while exercising their hands-on abilities and thinking skills, thereby improving their learning outcomes.
