DIFFERENCES ANALYSIS IN DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF ELLIPTICAL INCLUSION UNDER BLASTING AND SEISMIC LOADING

  • Blasting and earthquakes have different dynamic disturbances characteristics, and cause differences in the characteristics of stress wave scattering and stress redistribution on inclusion such as underground backfill. Therefore, this study investigated the difference in dynamic response of elliptical inclusion under blasting and seismic loading. Based on the Mathieu function and wave function expansion method, the Ricker wavelet and needle wave are adopted to characterize the seismic and blasting loads, and the transient dynamic stress concentration factor (DSCF) time-varying analytical solutions of elliptical inclusion under the two kinds of loads are obtained by combining Fourier transform and Duhamel integral. The numerical results indicate that DSCF always achieves the maximum value at both ends of the elliptical minor axis, but the seismic load is more likely to cause inclusion and surrounding rock structure failure, and the damage capacity is stronger than the blasting load.
