RESEARCH ON OPTIMIZATION DESIGN OF SECTION PARAMETERS OF SPECIAL SECTION PILE

  • Special shaped section piles are used to improve the load carrying capacity of high-rise buildings. In order to achieve optimal design, it is necessary to categorize and analyze the important structural parameters that affect the mechanical properties, and it is also necessary to find out the trend and optimal solution of the load carrying capacity of special shaped section pile for various different structural parameters. In this paper, we use parametric analysis of special shaped section piles to investigate the influence of different cross-section parameters on the mechanical properties of such piles by changing the number and angle of external cusps. The results show that the vertical bearing capacity and lateral bending resistance of special shaped section piles are better than those of pipe piles with the same cross-sectional area, and that the concave section piles are better than the convex section piles.
