STRESS ANALYSIS OF FLAT EXTRUSION CONTAINER BY PHOTOELASTIC METHOD

  • The multiplayer flat extrusion container is in acomplicated condition and is difficult to be analyzed by FEM. With photoelastic method, the stress distribution, and stress concentration place can be obtained.In photoelastic experiments, soft-epoxy resin material was adopted for loaded medium. The results can serve as a basis in design of the flat extrusion container in practice.
