AN ANALYSIS OF THE VEHICLE SEAT BELT ANCHORAGE STRENGTH BASED ON

The explicit solution method inLS-DYNA is used to carry out an analysis of the seatbelt anchorage strength of a cross-over minivan. The whole BIWmodel is included, specified load condition is used according tothe national standard, an accurate prediction is made on whether thestructure can meet the standard, and results are obtained for the structureoptimization. This approach can be extended to other quasi-staticproblems.
