To meet the demands of construction of infrastructuralfacilities, the study on frozen rock mechanics in cold regionsis necessary. The research progress of rock mechanics underthe frost and thaw conditions at home and abroad is reviewed in this paper,with emphasis on the main achievements ofauthors and colleagues on frozen rock mechanics in recent years.Some issues that are worth further studies are pointed out.
