The vibration characteristics of photography tripod arestudied based on its mathematical partial differential equation.The displacement of tripod vibration caused by theimpact due to camera shutter release is analyzed. Applicationsin engineering are described and examples are given.The results are useful for both tripod users and manufacturers.
