THE MOVEMENT OF THREE BUBBLES IN HORIZONTAL DISTRIBUTION

  • In order to study the influence of the aperture and the spacing on the motions of three bubbles, a high-speed camera and the particle image velocimetry technology are used to study the motions of three nozzle bubbles. The effects of the spacing and the aperture on the trajectory, the velocity and the offset of the three bubbles are analyzed. Compared with the cases of a single bubble and two bubbles, the influences of the spacing and the aperture on the bubbles and the flow are determined, along with the effect of the field on the motion of the bubbles. The experimental results show that the increase of the bubble number will make the bubble trajectory more complex; the increase or decrease of the bubble spacing and the pore size will change the bubble velocity, the flow field, the offset and the trajectory.
