THE BALANCE FROM RIGID TO FLEXIBLE IN STABILITY ANALYSIS OF COMPRESSION COLUMN

In order to explore the connotation of the stability of the elastic compression column, the change of the moment balance in the stability analysis is considered. The balances from rigid to flexible in stability analysis of the compression column are analyzed by using the multi-rigid rod-spring model, and the relationship between the two models and the physical significance of the critical load of the elastic compression column stability are revealed.
