APPLICATION OF THE NUMERICALMANIFOLD METHOD TO THECONTINUOUS NUMERICALANALYSIS

  • In this paper, the vary-order coverdisplacement function of the Numerical ManifoldMethod (NMM) and the trinodel-triangular manifold element are used to calculate the plane continuum problem. The high precise results can beobtained. The charactericstics of easy programming and simple preprocessing and postprocessingare also clearly shown by compared with the FEM.The Hammer integration of triangular area coordinates is used in the integration of the element.
