UNIFIED LIMIT SOLUTIONS OFMATERIALS WITH DIFFERENTTENSION AND COMPRESSIONSTRENGTHS

This paper presents a new method tocalculate the limit load of thick wall cylinder underhigh pressure based on Yu's Unified Strength Theory and a Unified solution are obtained. The Unifiedsolution can be used to both the materials with different tension-pressure strength and the ones withequal tension-pressure strength.
